Vintage MR20 tubular frame chair with armrests designed produced in Italy 1980s. First shown at an exhibition at Weißenhof estate in 1927, this design classic designed by Mies Van der Rohe was very much ahead of its time. Unusual at the time was that the chair has no legs at the back. This chair from the 1980s is very nicely made of durable materials and upholstered in beautiful thick brown saddle leather. The chair is in good and original condition with normal signs of use. The Chrome frame still shines nicely and has only a few light scratches. The leather is still in nice thickness and has a warm patina. At the bottom of the seat is a small piece on the stitching torn in and on the side a small damage. Dimensions are as follows: height 88cm, width 56 and depth 82 cm.
