Louis Octave Maxime Le Verrier, better known as Max Le Verrier, also under the pseudonym Artus (1891-1973), was a French sculptor. He is known as a pioneer of the Parisian Art Deco movement, creating decorative art objects in bronze reading as well as historical sculptures.
This model represents a small bronze dish, with a royal coat-of-arms symbol carved in the center. It has been cleaned and shows very few traces of wear.
